Why handmade soy candles
A factory candle comes off a line that never slows down for a single jar. A handmade soy candle is made in small batches: the wax is weighed, the fragrance is added at a specific temperature, and every piece cools slowly, away from drafts. The scent is spread evenly through the whole candle rather than sitting on top, and the melt pool reaches the glass all the way down. We cover the full comparison in handmade soy candles.
Soy wax itself has real advantages: it is renewable and biodegradable, melts at a lower temperature than paraffin, so a candle burns longer, and spilled wax washes off with warm soapy water. For an honest comparison, including where paraffin wins, read soy vs. paraffin wax.
How our candles are made
- 1
Weigh and melt the wax
The soy wax is weighed for a specific batch of containers and melted gently in a water bath so it never overheats.
- 2
Add fragrance at the right temperature
Fragrance oil goes in at a precise moment and is stirred until it binds with the wax. This decides how strongly the candle scents a room when burning.
- 3
Pour and let cool slowly
We pour by hand, jar by jar, then the candles cool undisturbed at a stable temperature. Rushing this step means cracks and sinkholes around the wick.
- 4
Cure, trim, label
The candle cures so the scent stabilizes. Only then do we trim the wick, check the top and apply the label.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship candles to the United States or outside Poland?
Not at the moment. Our candles are currently delivered within Poland only. The digital guide is available worldwide and arrives by email right after purchase. See delivery for details.
How is a soy candle different from a regular paraffin candle?
Soy wax is plant-based and biodegradable; paraffin is a petroleum by-product. Soy melts at a lower temperature, so it burns longer and gives a softer, less perfumey scent, while paraffin wins on scent intensity and a glossy finish. Full comparison: soy vs. paraffin wax.
How long does a soy candle burn?
It depends on size and how it is burned. A 120 ml candle lasts well over a dozen one-hour evenings; a 373 ml candle lasts tens of hours. Most burn time is lost to an untrimmed wick and short burns. The formula and chart are in how long do soy candles burn.
Are the candles natural and vegan?
Yes. The base is plant-derived soy wax with no paraffin and no animal ingredients. Whether soy candles can be harmful and how to read a label is covered in are soy candles safe.
How do I make a soy candle burn evenly?
Three rules: let the first burn reach a full melt pool, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (5 mm) before every burn, and keep it away from drafts. If a candle is already tunneling, it can be rescued: see why is my soy candle tunneling.
